While it’s written by a biased source (the author works for a company that makes RIG-based and wheel restraints), the issues are worth exploring, and you can’t argue with improving safety and reducing injuries.
Who out there has experience with restraints of these types?

Most places use the hook that grabs the ICC bar. Disaster if you have a liftgate because the truck often cannot back up to the dock even if the place lets you unload without hooking on. Most large facilities have at least one dock without the device but not always. Sometimes you are not allowed to make a delivery unless you can be hooked on to. Less liability for warehouses and more hassle for truckers.
